States spend much more money on capital cases than they would if they simply locked up these prisoners for life.<BR/><BR/>In fact, New Jersey has spend 253 million dollars on their death penalty system since 1983 that has yet to execute anyone.<BR/><BR/>Florida has spend an average of $55 million per year on 44 executions since 1976. That's an average of $24 million per execution!<BR/><BR/>Is this worth it to you?<BR/><BR/>Now, think about the moral issues here. We say it's wrong to kill another human being.
